From Idea to Additive Manufacturing -
Arctic Community (I2AM)

I2AM - From Idea to Additive Manufacturing is an arctic community that aims to promote the knowledge and use of additive manufacturing in the northern regions of Europe, including Ireland. The core of the open community is made up of the RDI (Research, Development and Innovation) actors in the region, mainly universities and colleges, and the companies that work with them.

Currently the community has one ongoing project, IDiD - Implementation of DeD AM in future manufacturing

I2P - From Idea to Metal 3D Printing project has ended. More information about the results of the project can be found here.

01 January 2023 - IDiD project has started!

01 December 2022 - "IDiD - Implementation of DeD AM in future manufacturing" project has received a funding decision from The Managing Authority of the EU Intereg Aurora program!

06-07 October 2022 - I2P Project meeting in Narvik
